covered with mold July 28, 2010 ashley chen I just received the item and packed it back right away because the whole thing was covered with mold!
I Like It June 17, 2010 Ron Z (Atlantic City, N.J. USA) This product is 15.2" in length. My kitchen cabinet is 23" wide (inside measurement), so I bought two racks. I cut one down to make a 7.5" rack and glued it onto the other 15.2" rack. Now I have one rack just under 23" long that fits nicely onto one of the shelves in my cabinet. It has 12 slots for my dishes. I use it for six 9" square plates and six round plates, 8.5" in diameter.
If you intend to use this rack as a pot lid holder you should remember that the handles take up space. Expect to use every other slot for this situation.
If you intend to use plates greater than an inch and a quarter in depth you will find that the plates do not lean back properly; they fall forward, touching the neighboring plate.
A good buy for what it is.

great value November 30, 2009 S. Melendy 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I bought two of these plate racks to organize space in the large china hutch we have in our dining room. Wasn't sure if they'd be sturdy enough for my fiesta dinner plates, but they turned out to be just the ticket. The racks appear to be built well; no defects and the pegs well-glued. For the cost, they just can't be beat.
